| Most Jedi already know of the Forms and their advantages, so I will discuss the manuevers and moves. No move is inherently Light or Dark, but some are frowned on in the Jedi Order.
Shiim - A mere wound utilised in order to stop a fight.
Saber Throw - A very commonly used move involving Force Push and Force Pull to move the lightsaber like a boomerang.
Jung - A 180 degree turn.
Jung Ma - A 360 turn which gains momentum for a much stronger strike.
Saber Barrier - A very impressive feat, it is used mostly by duel users. It was the act of using the Force to spin the sabers so fast, they created an almost imprenetrable barrier.
Shiak - A simple stab or thrust. Jedi tend to stab through the leg or arm, but Sith usually stab through the chest.
Sai - A Force jump used to evade a low attack. A skilled Jedi can balance themself in mid air enough to organise a counter, in which they strike downwards at their opponent.
Sai Tok - Frowned on severely for it's Sith-like quality, it is the action of cutting an opponent in half.
Cho Mok - Cutting off an opponent's limb.
Cho Sun - The act of cutting off the opponent's weapon arm.
Sai Cha - Beheading an opponent. It was used by Sith as an instant kill, and by Jedi whose foes could not be allowed to live.
Shun - a 360 degree spin with only one hand, gaining more speed and momentum than the Jung Ma.
Falling Leaf - An ancient technique that involved one's spinning feet to " Slash from the sky" It is similar to Shun and Jung Ma. The basic maneuver involved the user spinning and making a fast slash at an opponent standing behind them and then return to face the way they were before the maneuver.
Flowing Water - A lightsaber lock counter. When the opponent retreats from the lock, the user's blade follows the enemy's lightsaber further toward the opponent.
Mou Kei - A finishing move. The user moves his lightsaber in a circular motion to cut off the arms and legs. It was used by Obi Wan Kenobi in the duel against Darth Vader on Mustafar.
Sun Djem - Not a specific move, but simply any method used to disarm an opponent with out any real physical harm.
Cho Mai - Cutting off the weapon hand. It demenstrated a Jedi's skill and control with the blade, and disarmed an opponent without fatal damage.

| It was frowned on in the Jedi Order for it's Sith-like quality, but was used by Jedi in extreme situations. | |

| sokan- using the terrain to your advantage example: if there's 10 of your enemies in front of you instead of fighting them all one by one why not just force grab a column and block them from your path or make it land on them your call
TrĂ kata- turning a lightsaber off and on in combat advantages: this can be used as a short range shot for close combat, or it can be used to distract your opponent making him unaware of where you will strike next
and finally combat without combat form "zero" avoiding combat when not necessary yoda used this form allot i think the most notable example of this is the phrase " these are not the droids you are looking for" said by obi-wan. you should only use this form is you are skilled in the art of the jedi mind trick
until next time this has been Che Ali haha |

| These are mostly the points of contact and officially named lightsaber maneuvers, the lightsaber is a versatile weapon, I don't doubt there are thousands more things we can do with them. | |
